our founder's story
hi, I’m autumn—the founder of banginhair, a certified natural health professional and holistic health practitioner, and naturopathic doctor. my journey to creating banginhair is deeply personal, born from my own frustrations and breakthrough.
for decades, i relied on hair extensions to feel confident, never believing i could have strong, healthy, natural hair of my own. but in 2020, i decided to take them out for good. that’s when everything changed. i went deep into research, reading FDA books from the 60s and 70s and uncovering the shocking truth about the toxic ingredients hidden in our beauty products. what I discovered sent me down a rabbit hole of clean, real ingredients and their incredible potential for health and hair care.
when i started looking for these ingredients in products on store shelves, i realized they simply didn’t exist. sure, the products i saw used words like "clean" and "nontoxic," but the ingredient labels told a different story.
frustrated but determined, i began creating my own formulas with ingredients i knew i could trust. within just a few months, my hair transformed—it grew thicker, stronger, and longer than I ever thought possible. that’s when i knew i had to share this with all my ladies who, like me, deserve better.
